Rooted in
Community Needs

At the heart of our partnership with Music on Grand is a shared commitment to listening, adapting, and growing alongside the community we serve. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all programming, we intentionally assess community needs and create services that reflect those priorities.

This means our offerings may evolve throughout the year—introducing new programs, expanding group opportunities, and continuing to build spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and inspired.

Rather than focusing solely on performance, adaptive lessons integrate therapeutic principles to support:

  • Confidence and self-expression

  • Motor and cognitive development

  • Emotional regulation

  • A positive and engaging learning experience

1:1 Music Therapy & Adaptive Lessons

We provide personalized one-to-one music therapy sessions in St. Paul, offering a supportive and individualized approach for clients of all ages and abilities. Sessions are available through private pay or CDCS funding, making services more accessible for those seeking specialized care.

A key offering within this setting is our adaptive music lessons, designed for individuals who may not thrive in traditional lesson formats. These sessions are especially beneficial for neurodiverse individuals or those who require a more personalized, flexible approach to learning an instrument.

  • Little Rhythms

Little Rhythms is a seasonal group for infants, toddlers, and their caregivers, focused on early development, bonding, and joyful interaction through music. These sessions support foundational skills while creating meaningful moments between caregivers and children.

  • Keynote Cafe

Keynote Café is an open mic experience for adults with disabilities, offering a safe and empowering space for self-expression, creativity, and community connection.
